Elle's first Christmas is almost here! She is 17 weeks old and she can't wait! Actually, she doesn't know what is coming other than it means too many photo shoots trying to capture the perfect Christmas pic. She had to endure three such sessions...check out the pics below.
Yes, after much deliberation, we bought her a few Christmas gifts. After roaming the aisles of Target and looking at all the fancy toys that can speak 5 languages, we decided to look for the plain, old-fashioned toys. We decided on the good ole "drop the different shape block in the box" buckert and the "donut-ring" stacker. If nothing else, at least Mitch & I know how to work them (we think?). Besides, I named one of her baby dolls "Frenchie" and it can say "wee-wee". And I plan to name another "Rosa" and it will say "Vas ala playa". Notice, I said "I" did that because Mitch sort of thinks it is crazy :)
So, now onto our Christmas tradition. It is still up for debate, but this is an important year and we have to determine the Bolding family tradition for the rest of eternity. That is serious pressure. Mitch has already established the "Griswald" lighting tradition and I am carrying on my grandmother's Santa Claus tree, so what will it be for Elle? We will keep ya posted!
